Wouldn’t that type of thin hanger actually damage the shape of certain garments, like heavy jackets with padding that needs shoulder shaped, slightly bent hangers in order to maintain their shape better? It is like the difference storing shoes with a shoe block in them, and squishing them flat.
I love the tip otherwise. Longer skirts can be hung from panthangers too, to save space.
