Greenhouses, lol.
Also they probably import crops from the other side of the world where the crop is in season.

dear american friends of india
my sincere advise to you all is just try to consume locally,. the produce which is imported will have more pesticide, will be more costly and even health wise may not be suitable for the local season.
so have local fruits and vegetables all year round
thanks and best regardds

Readmit: You could try a green house and controll the temperature. The plants your trying to grow probaly only produce the crop during certain temperature ranges. Using a greenhouse could make that temperature all year long if you controll it corectly. If you dont have a greenhouse you could try growing them indoors. Other factors could be lack of pollination and a lot of pests

They claim the avarage salid travels 1,400 miles prior to consumption. That should drive the price up I don’t understand why more isn’t grown locally since we have so many homeless and out of work. Rather than these folks hiding out in the woods trying to be inconspicious why not proposition them with a job planting they can work as little as they want or much and prospective employers get someone that is in some routene.

Gee you ever think that it might be because you live in the most corrupt nation in the Western world?
October 20th, 2009 at 8:01 am
I am sure you would have rather Germany win WW2 or Russia win the cold war? We have issues true but if it weren’t for the dedication of this nation the world would be an entirely different place. Perhaps we can get China to run things they are partial aren’t they they love religion right? I see your home page has the prison torture on it as your background is that the worst you can dig up sure majority of USA don’t agree that is proper but really that is the worst? You want China they shoot2kill?

Last spring I had beautiful organic cherry tomatoes growing in tubs but they suddenly died. My large tomatoes were pelted by hail. My lettuce was eaten by snails. I had tremendous success with cucumber though. It was so easy and fast growing. I’m planting cucumbers again this year.

Dude who said that was my worst? Did you try checking the videos in my favorites list? You want my worst? I’ll give you my worst. But usually when I make political discussions in videos that are completely unrelated, most of the viewers get upset. We can continue this on your channel smart guy.

If I were a smart guy then I could understand what the Taliban or the other groups want? I really don’t get it what is their objective blow up Americans anyway they can? Who would take our place you know other nations are waiting for their chance to rule will they be as partial. I want to reform the way we elect our officials we need to end the party system it only allows corruption to fester.

Preach WTF Hardly not agnostic with a view as open as I can satand to get. You think I am a bible thumper? I went door to door trying to get Kerry in not bc I think Kerry would be a great choice but anyone but BUSH would have been better. The USA lost more credibility BC of him the worst president ever he would burn the Constitution with a copy of the Bible on fire.

in my greenhouse, there r no tubs, just a built up wooden erea filled too the brim with well rotten hen manure mixed with soil its around 18inch deep, i have found all my tomatos are still producing well into october, plants in tubs dry out too easy and die, unless they are in tericota tubs, but even these can dry out too
